Is the God of the Old Testament…?

The Bible on The History Channel March 3

Typically, I find out about important things to watch on TV after they air, but this time I’ve programmed my DVR four days early.

The Bible History ChannelThis Sunday (March 3), The History Channel is beginning a ten-hour series on the Bible, creatively titled The Bible (from 8-10 pm ET).

For more info on the series, click here.

Watch the The Bible trailer here.

To read a Christianity Today interview with producers Mark Burnett (Survivor) and Roma Downey (Touched by an Angelabout the series, click here.

This Sunday’s episode seems to be focused on Genesis and Exodus.

(It looks like the person in the image is walking on water, so I’m guessing its supposed to be Moses.)

What’s your prediction about the quality of this series?  Will you watch it?
